Cashmere care

We advise customers to have cashmere garments professionally dry-cleaned if they are not confident about washing them at home.

If washing at home, gently hand wash your cashmere garment in cool water (maximum 30°C) using a mild wool or silk detergent. Avoid rubbing, wringing, or twisting the fabric, as this may damage the fibres.

Loose jersey knit such as India and Ava, is suitable for dry cleaning only. 

After washing, gently press out excess water and lay the garment flat on a towel. Allow it to dry naturally, away from direct heat sources such as radiators or direct sunlight. Do not tumble dry.

Once dry, iron the garment on a low heat setting if needed. Cashmere can also be gently steamed.

For storage, fold your garment rather than hanging it to help maintain its shape.
